Reiki - Is a Japanese stress reduction and relaxation technique that promotes healing. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (RE) which means "universal life" and (KI) which means "energy." Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. The essence of the practice is its use of "spiritually guided life energy," to promote wellbeing. I blend several other modalities into each session, most commonly, guided meditation, breath work, and sound healing. Because I do this work intuitively, I may also utilize other healing tools like tapping, mantra, and Thai Body Massage. These sessions are ideal for stress and immune management, anxiety relief, deep relaxation and emotional release. ***Sessions are done on a massage table with the client fully clothed. Please wear loose, comfortable garments to your appointment.
Gong Healing - The gong is an ancient sacred instrument of healing, rejuvenation and transformation. It produces a strong sound wave, almost tangible to the touch, which stimulates the body by influencing the surface of the skin and every cell in the body. On a physical level the gong is a useful tool to relieve headaches, reduce muscle pain and/or cramping and stimulate the glandular system. It also improves overall circulation. On an emotional level the gong helps ease tension, anxiety and stress. It quiets the mind, literally cutting through the mental clutter, and helps clear the subconscious. People report better sleep, less anxiety and overall feelings of well being after a gong healing. Gong healing is often also called a "gong bath" referring to one being bathed in sound waves.
Kundalini Yoga - Is an uplifting and practical school of yoga which uses movement, dynamic breath work and mantras to transport us from the finite to the infinite. Basically, it helps us stop our monkey mind in its tracks and reconnect with our authentic self. There is a lot of meditation, both active and still in KY. It is POWERFUL because it is so effective. There are hundreds of exercise sets and thousands of meditations all intended to help people find purpose, live their best lives, and flourish in all aspects of the human experience.
